Indivisible Upper East Side Endorses Kellie Leeson for AD73
NEW YORK – Following a candidate forum and internal voting among members residing in AD73, Indivisible Upper East Side issues the following statement announcing its endorsement of Kellie Leeson, for New York’s 73rd Assembly District.
“We are pleased to endorse Leeson in her campaign to represent New York's 73rd Assembly district. We are grateful for her activism on behalf of our sister chapter, Empire State Indivisible, and her commitment to fighting climate change, and overhauling the state’s broken budget process.”
“We also appreciate and support the progressive views and policy ideas put forth by the other candidates and thank all who attended our forum. Our group looks forward to working to elect Leeson and to ensuring that she leads on progressive reforms as a member of the NY Assembly.”
To earn Indivisible Upper East Side’s endorsement, Leeson’s campaign manager participated in a candidate forum alongside challengers, taking questions from the steering committee and general membership. Leeson earned over ¾ of the votes of Indivisible Upper East Side’s eligible members.

Indivisible Upper East Side Endorses Carolyn Maloney for Congress
NEW YORK -- Following a candidates forum and internal voting among membership, Indivisible Upper East Side issued the following statement announcing its endorsement of Carolyn Maloney, the incumbent Democrat running for New York’s 12th Congressional District:
“We are proud to endorse Rep. Carolyn Maloney in her re-election campaign to represent New York's 12th Congressional district. We are grateful for her years of service on behalf of New York, her commitment to women's rights, her leadership on consumer and worker protection, her advocacy during the COVID-19 crisis, and her partnership in resisting the Trump administration.
“We also appreciate and support the progressive views and policy ideas put forth by the other candidates. And we ask that Rep. Maloney use her considerable standing and power in Congress to work hard for healthcare for all, housing for all, and a green economy.
“We thank all of the candidates for attending our forum. Our group looks forward to working to re-elect Rep. Maloney, and to ensuring that she leads on progressive reforms as a member of Congress.”
To earn Indivisible Upper East Side’s endorsement, Carolyn Maloney participated in a candidates forum alongside challengers, taking questions from general membership. She then earned more than 2/3s of the votes of Indivisible Upper East Side’s active members in a two-part, ranked-choice voting process.
