Stand Indivisible for a Truly Blue New York
New York Hilton Midtown
1335 Avenue of the Americas
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Senators Gillibrand and Schumer are on the program for this rally in support of a truly Democratic state senate. New York has been unable to pass progressive legislation that would protect us from Trump's attacks on civil rights at the federal level -- all because of eight state senators who run as Democrats but vote with Republicans. The group is known as the Independent Democratic Conference (IDC) and you can find more information about it here. The event is scheduled to coincide with Trump's re-election fundraiser.
