Actions for Week of November 14, 2021

This week
TAKE OUR SURVEY

Urgent! Need your input! Take our survey so we can move forward.

The midterms are coming! The midterms are coming! What shall we do? How?  Who can help us? Take the survey at the link and let us know.

Wednesday, November 17
PROTECT OUR VOTE
6-8 PM

Phone bank to AZ and NH and tell voters to make sure their senators protect our right to vote and support the Freedom to Vote Act. This will end gerrymandering tricks that give the GOP far more seats than they deserve.

Thursday, November 18
FREEDOM TO VOTE RALLY
12 PM
City Hall Park

Tell President Biden and Senator Schumer to use every ounce of power they have to protect and expand our democracy by delivering the Freedom to Vote Act now, before it’s too late.

FAIR WAGES FOR HOME CARE

Increase wages for home care workers (most make $12.50/hr). Most of our reps have signed on, but not Serrano.. If you’re in his district, let him know you want him to support this.

Phone: (212)-828-5829
Email: serrano@nysenate.gov

SAVE THE DATES!

Speaking of health care, we’re working with two other NY indivisible groups to have a session on NY Health (the proposed legislation to give New Yorkers universal healthcare).

Stay tuned!
