BANS OFF OUR BODIES
Call constituents in other states and tell them to urge their senators to support the Women’s Health Protection Act.
Before the Supreme Court guts our rights to control our own bodies.

FUNDRAISER FOR MELANIE D'ARRIGO
4 PM
Empire State Indivisible is co-hosting a fundraiser in lower Manhattan for progressive candidate, Melanie D’Arrigo. With Suozzi entering the governors race, Melanie is our best shot to not just keep this seat blue but to elect a true progressive.
Please join if you can and help spread the word! The event should be super fun and festive.

CAN YOU HELP?
Do you like to talk to people? Have social media skills? Want to get to know our reps better? The midterms are coming, we have a governor’s race, and a whole new mayor and city council taking office soon.
That’s one reason for the recent survey. And thanks to everyone who filled it out. You should see a separate email from me (Jodi) in your inbox.
We now have a one woman steering committee
Margo has an ongoing family problem, Nicole has taken a job with restrictions on political activity, and it looks like Jonathan's pandemic move upstate is now permanent.
Which leaves me. All by myself.
A little help goes a long way
You don’t need to take on a lot. Just a small piece. This could be outreach to one or two legislators. Or newsletter items. Planning group events. Or coordinating with other Indivisibles on their events.
There are plenty of small tasks you can do. So it’s not overwhelming
If you've already raised your hand, great!
If not, just hit reply and let me know what you'd like to do.
Thanks!
Also, unless there is something urgent, there will be no newsletters for the rest of 2021. Let’s all hope for a happy and healthy new year!
FUN
Just in time for a fancy ball
In case you need something to wear
Snow plow names do not disappoint
Always good for a smile
Foxes are gardeners?
I’d like to be… in an arctic fox’s garden beneath the snow
