Postcarding & Politics with Markers For Democracy
Virtual Event

Bring your GOTV postcards, and join Markers For Democracy to meet Jane Lerner of Movement Voter Project. This organization strengthens progressive power by helping donors – big and small – identify and support promising local community-based organizations in key battleground states, with a focus on youth and communities of color. Supporting local movement vote groups is the most effective and most cost-effective strategy for transforming our country. They focus on hundreds of organizations that both turn out unlikely voters and organize communities to grow their power and create transformation.

Jane Lerner is Major Donor Advisor for MVP. A writer and organizer who lives in Brooklyn, Jane has been published by NPR, NY Post, Time Out, and New York Magazine. The 2016 election galvanized her as a donor and an organizer, inspiring her to be more generous in her own political giving and to motivate others to do the same.
