INVEST IN OUR NEW YORK RALLY
5 PM
Kolb Art Gallery• 1357 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10021
It’s budget time in Albany, and although the people are widely in favor of taxing the rich, and while Rebecca Seawright is on board, Liz Krueger has yet to support it. We want a state that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few. This is in-person.

RACE FOR MAYOR CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS
7 PM
The 92nd Street Y is interviewing each candidate for mayor (mostly on Mondays). They have already spoken to Scott Stringer, Eric Adams, Ray McGuire, and Maya Wiley. Kathryn Garcia is this week, followed by Andrew Yang and Dianne Morales next week, and then Dr. Loree Sutton. You can submit questions well in advance (next deadlines are March 3 for Andrew Yang and March 5 for Dianne Morales) and then listen to the answers. All previous interviews are available at the first link.
Any Time (before March 15)
ANTI-SEDITION POSTCARD CAMPAIGN
Flip the West is sending postcards in districts and states where Republicans tried to overturn the election results. This week, it's people in Wisconsin, where Senator Johnson wanted the Supreme Court to toss out millions of ballots and help Trump essentially stage a coup!
They send you addresses and a script, you supply the postcrads and stamps.
RESTORE NEW YORKER'S VOTING RIGHTS
The State Senate has just passed a bill to restore voting rights to people on parole. Now it's the Assembly's turn. Call or email your rep and tell them to vote yes on this bill. Our reps seem to particularly like email, but calls are good too! You can use this tool or the information below.

*****SAVE THE DATE - MONTHLY MEETING*****
March 11
7:30 PM
Special Guest: Sarah Reeske (Indivisible organizer)
We won the election. But that’s not enough, we still need legislation. We’ve got to roll back Trump’s disasters and then start to move forward again. If we don’t, he could come back—and send us spiraling backwards again. Join us to find out how we can really, truly win power for the people.

I attended an online conversation with Dr. Tom Frieden, former head of the CDC, some weeks ago. I was going to share the recording, but it failed to work. However, here is a link to details of the conversation.
