Actions for Week of April 4
Planning to vote? We've got Q&A with city council candidates plus town halls to tell our reps to pass THRIVE (super green new deal).
Both Congress and the NY State legislature are in recess. Now is the time to tell them we want action on climate change (talk is not enough). So, we’re going to make suer they know we want them to create green jobs, fight inequality, and combat environmental injustices. To do that, they need to support and pass the THRIVE Act.
We’ll start with a kick off call and virtual rally tomorrow, then move on to an event with Rep. Maloney on April 7, and one with Senator Schumer on Friday, April 9
Scroll down for details.
Also, don’t miss our city council candidate debate on April 8!
