Implementing Justice: Mapping the Moment
The Progressive Caucus Action Fund and SiX Action present the third installment of the Movement Tools Training Series. First, we’ll hear from special guest Chiraag Bains, Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the Domestic Policy Council for Racial Justice and Equity on how the Biden Administration is implementing racial justice and equity throughout the administration. Then, we’ll hear from people leading the fight for clean water, equitable broadband, paid leave, childcare, education and more on what opportunities are available for YOUR community, what the challenges are, and what you need to do next.
This series features movement leaders, advocates, policy experts and special guest elected champions who are leading the fight for economic, racial and gender justice. Help build support for the WATER Act by reaching out to FWW supporters to urge them to call their Congress members in support of the WATER Act.
April 25th marks 8 years since the Flint water crisis. We need real, permanent federal investment in our water and wastewater infrastructure, and we're calling on Congress members to support the bill. The WATER Act would provide long-term, sustainable funding for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure improvements.

ACTION NEEDED BEFORE JUNE 2nd
from Common Cause:
We need to contact our representatives to urge them to pass the Hybrid Voting Machine Ban bill as soon as possible.
Hybrid machines pose a security risk: they can produce unreliable paper ballots, making audits nearly impossible. They are also cumbersome and expensive. Banning hybrid machines and barcodes on ballots will give New York voters confidence that their vote is cast and counted accurately.
Call your representatives to tell them that taxpayer money shouldn't be spent on these unreliable and expensive machines. We need secure elections.
